Check with Bill selling his P-18 on CL san diego. He's spent time there & knows where to put in, etc Also has neat back rest on his P-18. Pete -

No advice to offer, but that sounds like a blast. I recently came across this well-done video about the history of the Salton Sea. Being an East Coaster, I'd never heard of the place and was fascinated by it.

Motivated,checked out a couple of those youtube videos.Fascinating yes not exactly motivating,It is only 4 hours away i've driven by a few times did'nt think the whole place was deserted? I figure if people sail on the great salt lake,utah , the promised land-water for the west coast beach cat jamboree!I know little carried away!
