The line on my cat tracks burned off in a little problem someone had. How are people securing the boat to ends? And where on the boat, ie bow, middle, stern location. I have been rigging it all sorta ways.
Thanks

put trax under side stays
loop line over bottom of stay
make a loop like your tying a shoe and pull through the end you just looped over the stay
pull snug but not overly so.
the loop should be in the bite so you can pull the tail to release it.

The placement seems like a better balance point. I have been mostly using the corners of the tramp to secure it. I however don't get your loop method. At least sitting here. It may make sense with a line and the boat in front of me.

It's a slip knot.
Wrap the line around the shroud. Put Your hand down thru the wrap and grab the middle of the end and pull it back up thru leaving a tail that you can pull which undose the knot.
