I was just offered a P15 for free. Boat is in overall good condition but does not include the entire steering system, rudders castings tillers etc. My question is.....where can I find parts for a P15 there seems to be everything out there for a p16 but I cant find anywhere to get p15 parts.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!!
Prindle 15 (P15)...need advise

Most P-16 parts will fit P-15, rudders, etc. Have some. Pete 909-800-5237 -

Call Pete ^ he'll hook you up.
Hey Pete, hows that P16 looking? I am curious how your fire incident affected the boom you had. Is it still usable if you replaced the lines and outhaul blocks or did it completely melt it? Bit of bad luck that.

Pete,
Ill get in touch when I hear back from this guy about the boat. I have currently an H16 which I just got and put some new parts on looking to get it in the water this weekend.....in everyones opinion, which is faster and more fun the H16 or the P15...I will be soloing alot but like to take out the occational crew mwmber when I need some extra weight and the wind is blowing.
Pete, rough pricing on the rudder system so I know what im getting into since I have the H16 not looking to spen alot.
Thanks to all.... -

Coastrat is right, but if you put a hanky jib (cut down an old wire luff P-16 or H-16 jib) on the P-15, you have an excellent heavy air boat & could tack easier. Rudders $75, casting $100, shipping $35. Pete -

A free P-15 is worth getting & putting a little money in. I hate the H-14, but when it's solid whitecaps, the H-14 is very manageable, lots of fun & tacks fine if you roll tack it. P-15 even better. 2nd in the round Texel (big race in North Sea every Spring) 3 years ago. How much do you weigh ? Pete -
