Whats up, im mark, Just got a 1978 Prindle 16. Im about as clueless as they come when it comes to cats. I had one about 6 years ago and it got used once before it had to be sold due to a move. Well im getting back into it. I put the mast up and untangled all of the wires and ropes laying on the tramp. Sail is in good condition but there is no boom...how the hell does that get lost. Anyway now im on the hunt for a boom. I hope i find a boom soon because I want to get it on the water and sailing! -

Talk to Prindle Pete on here. http://www.thebeachcats.com/profile/view/pbegle He can likely hook you up with a boom. The manual for the boat can be found here: http://www.thebeachcats.c…ictures/?g2_itemId=75669.
Welcome aboard!

You have a '78, so am assuming a wire luff jib & no white ports on deck. Boom is the slider gooseneck type like H-16 & not connected to mast with a pin. Have one, just verify above. Pete 909-800-5237 -
