Hobie Sport 17 jib question?

We bought a Hobie Sport 17 about two weeks ago and we have been out about 4 or 5 times since then. Today we got caught in a nasty storm on a huge lake....it blew out our jib. It did not fuller up complete and it shredded it. My question is....the jib that is used on a Sport 17...is this the same size as on a 16 or 18? Or is this JUST for the 17? Thanks for any advice and help with this question. Hoping to get back out soon! -

Does anyone know if the 16, 17 and 18 use the same jib? Anyone? Thanks! -

The 16 jib has battens and is very different than the 18. I see the 18 jib being a possible fit, definitely not the 16.
