i've never heard of an 18 either...
maybe use the web to find the exact length of the 17 and and 19
and then remeasure yours
or run the hull number past the supercat forum -

I know she's a SC 18, says so on the sail, LOA is 18' with a 12' beam. Nothing else matches it. -

It is a one-up (look ma, no jib!) 18 feet supercat. The only one ever factory supplied with boom. That's my knowledge on the sc18.
In my opinion the dolphinstriker is to tight the beams should be straight and not deflected upward.
Nice find! Now go and sail the **** out of it.

Thanks.
There is no visible provision for adjusting the dolphin striker.
No boom, or place to mount one.
She is one of the defunct 18 square class.
According to Mr. Haberman ( the god of all things supercat) She is one of maybe 22 made, and one of only 8 or 10 that was kept in the US, the rest were exported to Northern Europe.
I've almost got her seaworthy again (wasnt much to do) still have to have a little fiber work done on the hull but otherwise shes ready for sea trials.
