I need new jib blocks for my mystere 6.0. The current ones are these:
Is there something newer, better, lighter, stronger I should consider instead?

the newer carbo rachamatics (H2628 is the similar replacement) are lighter and have a wider/better selection of angles for the cleat. The classic that you have is bullet proof. The auto rachamatics are nice if you have never used one.

If you can afford them, these are great. http://www.oxenblocks.com/ A friend had them on his H18 and then his Mystere and they worked awesome on both.

I replaced my set of the ones you have with Oxens, I've never looked back. If you want another set like your old ones I could sell you my spares.

I''ve had good experiences with carbo ratchamatics, and one bad ronstan auto ratchet over the years.

Thanks for the feedback all! The new harkens are dead-sexy but at $150/piece? ouch. If santa isn't nice this year I'll hit you up Wolfman. -
