their are beach wheels for $25 near me and all they need are new tires. i will see if i can get a trailer. -

If they are Cat Trax make sure they have the metal rims so you can buy tires (about $120 plus shipping for two) because the first generation Cat Trax used a one piece tire/rim that you can't get anymore. If you convert the old style you are basically buying the pipe and still need bearings/rims/tires etc.

If they are the old style with without a rim to mount to tires to then it will cost you about $250. $99 for each tire with rim and $50 to ship. Plus any extras you may want like new endcaps nylon washers, delrin bearings new SS cotter pins(recomended) .
Still worth it in my opinion

is it okay for the boat if i take a mono hull boat's trailer and put the hobie upside down so the frame is on the trailer and then strap it down and put the mast on the roof of the car?

A much easier fix for flat Cat Trax tires is to buy a pair of inner tubes to go inside the tubeless tires. You can purchase them from the CatSailor site. I had a local lawnmorwer repair shop insert the tubes for me. They hold air and work great.
