I was wondering what the difference between the 5.5 uni and SL are excluding the fact one has a jib and the other not. Is the beam the same for each? are the beams located in the same position? Any other differences? Can a SL be converted to a uni easily besides the obvious of sailing the SL without the jib?
Also, I have a nacra 5.8. Are the boards and rudder the same as the 5.5s? How about mast section and length? And are the sails different in size? Some times you see one boat or the other being parted out and wonder if some of the equipment is interchangable. Thx.

5.8 and 5.5 boards are different sizes. Do you have a 5.5?

I think the rudders are the same size between the 5.5 and 5.8.
The stick is longer and the main larger on the unis than on the SL.
I sailed my SL as uni a few times without any issue.

the dutch texel ratings speadsheet shows lots of info like; beam, weight, sail area etc
for most beach cats
you'll need to go over the "complete list" and description from this page
