Today I started to install my front crossbar support kit. One of the inside front crossbar bolts is not going to come
out and will most likely break. I see in the catalog that there is a square nut listed for this bolt. My question is what is
involved in replacing this nut? I can see some rivets close to where the bolt enters the crossbar. Thanks.

Been there done that. Likely the tramp will have to be loosened, not likely removed. You need to take the outer bolt off the hull, then the end cap off and then the lug out of the cross bar. Then replace the captive nut and put it all back together.
YOU MUST USE ANTI SEIZE or it will be all bad. HTH, Richard.
