Sharp looking hulls, bud. I scraped what was left of mine off and replaced with my custom-ordered decals. Looks much better. I googled your location. I'm a lake sailor in Northeast Georgia. Maybe we can hook up, sometime?
I have vector files for 2 versions of the decals.. You can take them to a sign shop to have them produced. I had a request for a set last week but have been to busy to get them out to him. ( sailed sat and Sun !!),, PM me with a email address and I will get them out this week for you both.. Cheers Hal

i had decals made for my 18 square by taking a picture of a nacra 5.2 decal off my computer and texted the picture and the dimentions for it with 18 square instead of 5.2. to a decal maker with my credit card info. and a few days later i had my decals. you can have them made larger or smaller than the ones in the picture as well as your choice of colors.

I'm right down the road from you Gray on lake wateree, 40 minutes. I've got another friend on Murray who I sail with from time to time. Let me know if you're interested in getting together with us...

Gray, can you confirm that it is a single decal, in that shape? It looks like the older decal, (they were a single line, NACRA 5.2) was cut in two pieces, with the 5.2 being placed below NACRA.
ERICE, from Japan sent Wolfman & myself a bunch of the old classic decal, in either red or blue.
PM me an email address, when I leave the lakehouse I will take a digital photo of the decals & send it to you. If they are what you are looking for, I'll send you a couple.

A good buddy of mine taught me the "roll and tip" method. We sanded the hulls with 80 grit paper, fixed a couple spots with 610 epoxy and painted with a thin foam roller followed by smoothing out with the "tip" of a brush. We used the paint below with ~10-20% penetrol added.
It looked like what you described, a single decal cut and placed as in the pic. I would be very greatful if you have an extra set laying around. I pm'ed you my email address. Thanks.
