i used to tow my hobie 16 with an MGB, but the MGB did not hold up near as well as the hobie did. now i tow it with a honda accord 4 cylinder. not sure of the gas mileage, probably around 30 on the highway.

92 Toyota Corolla 1.6l 5 spd. 30 MPG works great even over hills!
also before i sold it i used this: 1968 Jeep M-715. 8 mpg. EPIC.
