For any of you on the fence about replacing some sheets, and the options you have:
I've got a couple ~8' sections of yale PHD left over from my spinnaker sheet that I'd be happy to mail out to the community to anyone that would just like to see what a $2/ft line's properties are before buying some.
PHD has been a unique line for me, in that I first got Salsa for a tapered main sheet, then PHD for my next tapered main and didn't like it -- it's fairly rough compared to salsa. Then for my third tapered main I went back to a smaller salsa and actually missed the somewhat 'heavy' or substantial feeling of PHD, so I went back to it for my spin sheet.
Anyway, like I said I've got two pieces of PHD that are big enough to get a good feel for it...I might have a foot or so of salsa laying somewhere, but don't count on it.
Anyone interested in it just PM me your info and why you're interested in it and I'll mail it to you if it's still available. I would like you to mail it on to anyone else that would like to see/feel it if there are more people interested.

i prefer the fatter sheets myself. i know they are heavier and such but if i really wanted to lighten up the boat then i should lose weight...i could lose way more than the extra weight of some lines for sure!
