Think I would prefer this since it should have better sound plus it protects the phone/ipod too. http://www.amazon.com/Gra…eywords=waterproof+radio

had a great sail with fam. yesterday on H 21, great wind, but was just thinking of getting tunes on boat. has anyone tried those cooler/radios? the ones above look great, but combining the two would be better. -

The best option for tunes on the water is a job site radio in a dry bag, I use the small ryobi radio ($30). The functionality and sound quality is great, plus it's extremely loud. You would have to shout over it a full volume... the best part is it uses rechargable power tool batteries that last a very, very long time... -

great idea. I have one of those ryobi radios, will put it in a soft cooler zipper pouch. Now any ideas for a beverage holder while sailing? -

Probably one of the most discussed topics, lol. I like using the "chug it" method.. There's a few pics floating around this site of cup holders mounted to the shrouds, looks like the best solution. -

The one I listed says it has a water proof storage for phone keys wateever but thy did really show it. But that means no access to phone to control it. I have a lifeproof case to keep my iPhone dry and gives me full functional control, so a small separate waterproof Bluetooth like this would be perfect.

Great Bill let me know how it continues to work. Would be interested in if the phone gets hot inside and such.
I had my 21 SE out all weekend too! First time running the new main and jib. Things went very well all in all. We did some testing with the righting pole but where it attaches to the dolphin striker popped a few rivets when we put weight on it so I'm going to have to try something else. Also bent the bobber pole when we pulled the boat over but I think I can straighten it out and I have a spare if all else fails.
