No room under the boat on the trailer. Any good ideas on securing the wheels on the boat?

That is pretty much how I haul mine. I made some foam pads but I like your canoe pads are those something fairly cheap?

Had them forever, but I know you can buy them individually pretty cheap. They have a cutout
for the canoe rail that fits the tube quite nicely. They are very dense foam. My axle has a sleeve
on it so I am going to replace the bolts in the sleeve with eye bolts for a better tie down point.
