i just bought a new main sail (old cat fever) and it just came back from the sailmakers. when i was looking at the repairs i noticed it kinda dirty what do you recommend to clean off manly dirt i think.

soak it overnight in a tub of luke-warm water and use Oxy-Clean, agitate it occasionally -

Dilute it 10:1 and spray it onto your sail.
Let stand overnight.
Hose off.
It works really well.

I have not used the cleaner Bob. but I have used the 303 fabric waterproofing on my Stinkboat covers, & yeah, it works...really well

the 303 vinyl protectant also works.
I used to use it to seal my gel-coat after an acid wash (now i use newglass)
well however if you use it on your hulls... DO NOT use it where your feet go when trapping and DO NOT use it where you stand to right your boat... very slippery
