I would like to sail in Maui during a vacationa and cannot find a cat to rent. Would one of you share a point of contact, name of a marina, etc that might have small cat to rent or a skipper needing a crew for a poeriton of a day?
Thanks

If you’re looking to get a good cat sail in on your vacation I HIGHLY recommend booking a Molokini snorkeling and performance sail trip with Paragon sailing charters. Unlike all the other large cats that leave out of Ma'alaea harbor these guys actually sail while the others just motor. On our way back we hit 18 kts with the windward rudder just skimming the water!! In fact the captain said when they hit their top speed of 30.1 kts a few weeks back he had the hull flying, this boat moves you won’t be disappointed.

Also pick up Maui Reveled, it's a great travel guide for the island.

We were on Maui a couple of years ago, the hey day of beach cats is done, there is a group that sails out of the lagoon as you drive towards Kehai (sp) but we found no beach cats for hire or rent in Lahina or Ka an a pali. We did as Car guy suggests and take a day trip on one of the big cats that goes to Molokai and then to one of the turtle areas, ours was with Trilogy.
You may want to look for a Hobie fleet on the island, they may have a connection for you. HTH, Ricardo.
