Righting pole ????

I've been sailing a variety of cats for 50 years and have never heard of a "righting pole" Sounds like an aid to right a cat. What is it like and where can I get one or plans for one. Thanks -

Been using them for 20 years. Check parts ad on this sight, have one for sale. Hook it up and practice on land first. Pete -
