I'm looking for info on sailing in Memphis from anyone here that may or may not run this website.
I think I'm going to be in Memphis next weekend 6/27-6/30, and it's looking like I'll have to drive.
I'm going to have very few commitments while I'm there, so sailing is a real possibility, so I'm thinking of dragging the boat along.
Anyway, can you give me any info on sailing in Memphis (ie locations; parking; community; etc?)
Thanks!

Ill be here sailing... Arkabuttla lake in north MS is 45min away, Sardis is about 30 min past that. Both lakes are really big, Sardis is Huge! For Arkabuttla lake you'll want to go to Hernando point - army corps of engineers. There's restrooms, showers ect.. $3 a day to launch. DSA sailing club is there as well. I go every sat/Sunday weather permitting... If the wind is less than 5mph I just take my seadoo out... Mike lodes, Damon and a few others usually chime In or I run into them down there. Hope to see ya. Welcome to the area!

Thanks for the info. But scratch all that. That trip went away as quick as it turned up.
