Picked it up in Mobile today. Thanks Ray!
Looking forward to getting it wet and welcome any advice from other 5.7/570 sailors.

Is that Ray B'man's boat?
If so, I don't know of anyone faster on a 5.7

Get Damon out on it & make a convert!
I would have driven all the way from Canada to Mobile to buy it, sight unseen...I would have sold you the boat & kept the "wench system for raising mast". Please post explicit photos. Can it also cook?
Seriously, you'll love that boat. Simple setup, large clean tramp. Solo you need to power down many days,it will fly a hull in 10mph, but it will do 21mph solo. It's forgiving in rough water. Don't be put off by the lack of boards, get the lee bow down into the water & you can point pretty good. You will need that Arriba stik at full extension upwind, so you can stand forward.
If you end up needing a rudder blade, you have to find one from a 5.0 or 5.7, they are longer than the more common 5.2 blades.
They are a bit of a pain to drain the water from, due to the upwards slant of the hulls at the stern, unless you have a steep beach.
Get the manual from the Tech Help section, there are two of them. They contain a short section on tuning the boomless rig. Read Rons comments here regarding mast rotation.http://www.thebeachcats.c…/14513/start/20#pid46665.
If you always have crew, a righting line is fine, you will need a bag when solo. I can self right solo, but only if the wind is close to 20.
Sounds like the vendor really knows the boat, he's your best resource.
