my home made "custom" tarp  Bottom

  • It looks like a nice job. How many hours labor do you estimate?

You should consider adding holes in the top of the tarp area to allow water to drain. I had a problem with my Hobie brand tarp collecting water, to which Hobie replied that other customers have crushed their hulls due to the collected water weight (same with snow). If the holes are placed right, they would not cause any UV exposure and would drain water onto the ground, and not the tramp.

    It looks good.

  • It only took about an hour, also I did add drain holes, thanks.
  • I'd place a PVC bucket or some other device in under the middle of the tarp to raise it up some... otherwise water will pool on the tarp and sit there until it leaks through.

  • It has drain holes in the center of each section to prevent water from pooling.
  • Strong work, Kevin!
