5/16 bzzz line for mainsheet  Bottom

  • All I can say is wow. I have always used thick lines but after reading the opinions here I figured what the heck. Plus it was only 25bucks. Color me impressed. It works so smoothly and is easy to hold. I found using a glove (Lowe's special) made a big difference.

My only complaint is that it is so light that I can;t keep it on the tramp when I hike the boat. My solution was to pinch it between my toes :) There has got to be a better way. Pete

  • if it is anything like robline and salsa (i think it is) you can probably use a little velcro (just the hook side) in a few spots and it will hold.
  • oh, a little warning about toes and line...if your sailing in some winds, always keep your toes covered up with shoes, not sandals! because sometimes the s#@t hits the fan and you don't want a line getting snatched between toes/sandal and getting the rope burn of a lifetime between the little piggies! icon_eek

I second this suggestion. I cut my foot open once when an accidental jibe threw the traveler across and my foot got caught in the track. Sailing out in the ocean while bleeding is not much fun.

  • if your not bleeding, your not sailing hard enough

you really don't need your toes to sail ... stop worrying about the little things... focus on the task at hand - sailing, hot chicks drinking rum, and not spilling during a tack
  • I like the velcro idea.
