Light winds did not discourage me from giving it a go Sunday. South winds 5-10 and 75 degrees was enough lure for me. Even though it was an easy sailing day it was still enjoyable. The water was clear so I could see bottom almost everywhere I went. There was alot of sealife out there to enjoy, seeing porpoise and baitfish working through the area. -

I live in Newport NC about 500 yards from the starting and finish point on map. I sailed the west end of Bogue sound.Its between Swansboro and Morehead City.
