A Class Parts  Bottom

  • I have a 2008/9 Evo. On the top of the rudder head is a small hole where a fiberglass rod attaches. The rod has a small pin that inserts down into the tiller, holding the rudder down. Unfortunately the hole broke and the rod went overboard. I can repair the rudder head, but does anyone know where to get a replacement fiberglass rod?

    Thanks for any help.
  • McMaster Carr sells basic fiberglass rods if that's all you're looking for.

  • Sounds like what the AHPC boats use. You should be able to source on from them. Try Jill and Red Gear Racing/Fun in the Sun, you can easily find them through a Google search.

You can see the rod on this picture of my boat..
