Forget about the price. What are people thinking? At least take five minutes and hose the thing down............

p.s. Doing that to a beach cat should be a crime :)

Unfortunately there are thousands of beachcats out there just like this that need to be rescued.
Boats that look like that can be real bargains because most people don't realize how well fiberglass and anodized aluminum clean up.
Usually when a boat is advertised in that condition the owner or owners wife just wabt it off the property.

I agree, its amazing what you can accomplish with a hose, soap, and a scrub brush. The tramp might be shot, but the rest could very possibly be brought back to good condition with a little TLC.
The biggest thing to look out for on a boat like that is what you can't easily see - soft spots. If the hulls were abused or stored with water inside, the hulls could be toast making it a parts boat.

I once got PAID! to haul a boat in that condition away. I busted the lock on the cat box and found a set of brand new sails still in the bags in the original shipping box. Story was: the guy was dodging divorce lawyers and hid the boat on someone else's property, where it sat for 10 years. The property was being cleaned up for an estate sale when the boat was 'discovered.' The tires had rotted clean off the rims and the axle was so deep in the dirt, I had to dig it out. Turned a nice buck when I flipped it in 3 weeks.
