Well, I accepted a new job offer and am moving next week to Port Charlotte FL area. Already rented a house in Punta Gorda Isles. If anyone lives in this area and can give me some local advise on sailing area or sailing clubs. Or just want to meet up for a beer let me know. My wife and I are 38 so we can hang with younger or older crowd.
Sincerely
Will Murray

I live in Punta Gorda. Not much of a cat sailing scene except for the Charlotte Harbor Regatta. The Punta Gorda Sailing Club has big boat racing with a Multihull fleet. The yacht clubs are mostly eating and drinking groups. Charlotte Sailing Association meets at Port Charlotte Beach of Wed and Sat. No cats.
There is a little ramp behind the YMCA Bayfront Center on Retta Esplanade and beach launching at Port Charlotte Beach
