Is it possible to tell from the pic if this is a 16 or Hobie 14 sail? It looks small from the pic, but hard to tell. -

Yes-ish. That sail number is pretty high up. They made a heck of a lot more Hobie 16s than 14s. It is also all white. I would bet it was purchased new separate from the boat. The only boat worth buying a new mainsail for is a hobie 16.

Looks like 6 battens to me.
14's are 5 or 6 and 16's are 8 if I recall.
