Hey everyone!
Just picked up our first Hobie 18 and am totally infatuated with it!
One problem is the 6" deckplate lids and 12" cat tube cap are all missing.
I suspect they were taken overnight as the cat was left on a public beach in the summer. Edit: found the deckplate covers on feebay.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement 12" Cat Tube cover without having to buy the entire assembly or does anyone have a used one they might part with?
Thanks in advance!

Update: I found the 6" deckplate covers for $10. Now all I need is the 12" Cat Tube Cover.

If your boat has the original pop-in deck plates, I suggest you change them out for the screw in type. The problem with the pop-in plates is that over time the repeated flexing of the hull from popping them out will cause the deck to soften and eventually crack around the access port. The screw in ports eliminate this problem.

For the Cat tube, cut a piece of plywood to fit the diameter of the cat tube, put a hinge on the bottom and a hasp on the top and be done.

Presto thanks! That looks perfect!
DB thanks for the heads up. Looks like the prior owner took care of that so I'm good to go!

The other option for the cat tube end cover is to put a 1/2 inch cut in the top about 1 inch back from the end the cut need to be as wide as the tube. then cut a piece of 1/2 ply the width of the cut and cut the bottom of the ply the same shape as the tube. If you want you can fashion a tab on the bottom of the ply that will go thru the bottom of the tube. then you could put a lock on the tube and effectively lock up the contents of the tube.
