I plan to use luff slugs to support a net tramp and searched here for tramp track groove size and could not locate. My tracks are in storage so I cannot measure. Anyone know the groove size by any chance?

Ah-ha, I get to answer my question, FWIW to others. the groove measure .5" and is very tight for .5 inch bit, with 7/16" fitting easy but amply.
