Me and my boys Got caught in an extra big gust on lake Pueblo on Our old sol cat 18.
Broke a stay and the mast boot.
Any ideas on replacing the boot?

there is a mast base and receiver for a solcat listed on Ebay, but pete may have just
the mast boot for less.

Thanks guys. I guess I'm referring to the cast (aluminum)? piece riveted into the bottom of the mast . Its what pivots on the crossbar base. I'll have a pic in an hour -

I think that's considered the mast base. Which generally sits atop a ball or round top post of some sort, that allows the mast to rotate. -

hey, I have one on the bench I was going to use on my AMF16', but couldn't get the bottom nut to break loose.
I paid $75 on the e-bay, its yours if you want it.
