Setup manual is saying 1/2" good starting point.. Anyone carrying more or less?

But I will give you the statement from the Prindle Manual: Lower the rudders (on trailer) & lock down. Take a batten or yardstick & lay the straight edge flush against the transom. Adjust the lock bolt so that the forward bottom edge of the rudder is about 1/2" aft of the forward edge of the batten. (pull rudder back lightly to pull out any slop.) 1/2" aft is a good starting point, further adjustment may be necessary for personal preference. Somewhere I have an old Smyth tuning guide, tho can't find at moment. Pete -

Regarding the Tri-Point.... I am not going to be able to make it... I am in NYC and Philadelphia the whole week prior for meetings and don't get back to Los Angeles until late Friday night..
Pete... If you come across the Smyth Tuning let me know..
