Just throwing this out there. Our 1989 Hobie 18 has, over the last few times out (& with no consciously made adjustments), been pulling to weather on port tack and wanting to turn downwind on starboard tack. Does this sound like it's more likely due to rudder adjustment than mast rake?
Any ideas?

Are your rudders locked down all the way?
What type of rudders are you using (lexan, PCG, fiberglass, EPO)?
Are your jib leads adjusted equally on both tacks?

Sounds like the rudders are getting sloppy. Check for play in the rudders, cams, and rudder pins and shim or replace as needed. If it was sailing good previously with the same crew and conditions something must have wore out.
