We chickened out.
Air 80's
water 82F
Wind 40 gusting to 60 clicks (24mph G 36mph)
Drank some good German beer & watched the ospreys try to hunt in white water, & the purple martins fly into their holes without bashing their beaks out the back of their heads.

How was your outing, Tim? We had 7 boats go out for a sunset/blue moon sail here on The Rez. Awesome moonlight, perfect temps, and a good, steady, low-humidity 10-12 out of the NNE. That just doesn't happen in MS during July/August!

John and I were sittin' on the beach, awaiting the moonrise. It finally crested the Mission Mountains to the east, and set the lake afire! We finally noticed the building breeze, and saddled up Lunatic Fringe for a moonlit frolic. Enough pressure to fly a hull, upwind and down, a blue moon cruise to remember!
