Found on a german forum, used google translate but didn't get an good info. I love the wings, looks like they could work on an inter 20 or other late model cats...

What cat is this? Hobie Europe's version of 21 or custom?

Not sure what that one is. Hobie Europe does a lot of things that aren't done in the US. Looks like they used modified H21 hulls with straight Tiger style crossbars and dagger boards instead of centerboards.

It is a hobie europe 21 formula. A couple YouTube videos on one in Germany.

I will have quick go at translating,
Guy that started the post is looking for a cat
- which can carry 4 adults
- carry 300 kilogram of stuf
- is suitable for long-time sailing
- is child-friendly ( a net behind the rear beam?)
- the possibility to store waterproof bins on the tramp
- has to sleep 2 on the tramp
- a reefing main
- storage in the hulls
- has to go like stink when not packed and reefed
- hulls has to be strong and not easy to break
The replier who posted the Hobie 21 photo said;
- at 3 Bf you need to sail it with 3 adults already
- but thinks it will fit the posters needs
- he thinks at 4-5 Bf its a real challenge to take the kids
without tossing them around.
- fine cat, but with that load, width and length , hard to handle
- he suggests the old-style H 20 formula, not the Fox
- also the C-cat is suggested
- if you can sail a Hobie, you can sail all cats
- Suggests a T , N 5.7 N 6.0 , Inter 20 or Dart 20
- finishes with the remark that the demands are hard or even
not to be found in one cat
The cat in the picture probably is a H 21 European version
4 meters wide ( including wings ) 6.5 meters long
Daggerboards instead of centerboards
They were build at the Hobie factory near Toulon, France
were they made some different models.
Here's a link to a youtube film NeubaurRL mentioned.
