Can someone tell me how the video cam is mounted in this video?

The camera stays in the same position relative to the water not the catamaran. The camera swings side to side but does not seem to move much forwards and backwards.
It cannot be a Picavet mount because it would then have a lot of back and forth movement.

Cheap way is to mount a metal strip to your forestay adjuster at the bridles. Hang the camera below it with a fitting that allows the camera to "swing" left/right to maintain relationship to horizon. It's pretty easy to fashion something that will incorporate the standard GoPro attachment pieces. Just make sure to tether the camera to something!
