Cities in or near Fort Lauderdale for beach cat sailing

I want to sail beach cats near fort lauderdale(open to a little driving distance ~100 miles from Ft laud??). I might be bringing my 5.2. good clubs? good beaches that are safer to store a beach cat? thanks! -

Delray Beach has 2 spots, very friendly great city tons of good restaurants and golf courses
20 minutes from Ft Lauderdale
