I have a Nacra 5.2 and am going to add the second harness this season. (we are noobs). The first one is 5-7" rear of the side stays. (which I'm told will be for skipper) and the other one is to be mounted threw the front crossbar. Does this sound right? with the bungee system on the skipper one I find it really hard to say rear on the boat. it pulls me forward and takes my balance away.
Should I be finding a way to loosen the bungee tension? or do I have another problem.

The front cross bar is a popular place for a crew trap.
You want to add length to the shock cord. Instead of just running the cord straight from one side to the other, run them through a block at the rear beam. Adding some length to the cord allows it to stretch farther, without pulling too hard on you.

Bacho, thanks for the tip, and location. Makes total since to add length to reduce the pull. nice tip. I will use this when setting up the new trap lines.
