The Tornado lost its mast in September ;-( We can replace it from the ad section, which we will probably do. Just curious, is swapping masts an upgrade worth doing? The T has a wing shaped mast, is light enough to handle. Carbon is not in the budget, at the prices I have seen. Someone up the beach did this to a Prindle, though it is just heresay. Machining, drilling, fabricating is not an issue. What do you guys think? I don't want a mess and would prefer to use the same sails. Thanks.

I grew up in Madison, learned to sail at Garvan Point. The boys with the Prindle 19 down the beach from you are top F18 racers and are very handy and could definitely help you out.
