i was "getting out of sailing" about 10 years ago
i LOVED my h16 but wasn't a good sailor and didn't know how to solo step my mast - I was paying $75/month to store a $1200 boat that I hardly used... so I sold it
A week later the local chandler called me up and said a local sailor just purchased a mystere 6.0 and needed his h18 out of his yard. He sold it to me for $400 (in Well Tested condition / working order). I purchased it 100% to resell for profit. My plans failed. I fell in love with it and sailed it every weekend for 2 years.
sold the h18 and purchased a more powerful, modern ride - a 5.5 mystere
now i own that guys mystere 6.0 too :)
