I think the title pretty much says it. My spreader tube is pretty worn where it passes through the mast. It appears to be .75 o.d. with .125 wall. Does anybody have a good source for appropriate replacement material? Thanks.

Let me dig through my junk bin tomorrow. I had one, off an old 5.2, it was in good shape. I think they are the same.

Sorry for the delay, I forgot about it, then was out of country a few days working. I dug it up, bad news, I cut a piece off as it was the perfect size/strength to use as an insert in the thin tube of the H18 Magnum wings, although where it passes through the mast is in near perfect condition!
It is 3/4" OD, & 1/8" wall thickness.
A place like Metal Supermarkets or McMaster Carr has it. You want the 6061 round tubing.

You would need to cut the end groves & drill the two cotter pin holes.
Have you tried giving Dan Berger, or Pete Begle, (they have ads here) a call?
They may well have a bent mast & could pull a decent one for you.

You could probably get a piece that would work from a metal yard basically for free. Even if it was solid round bar it would still work and weigh near nothing. It's just a little more material to drill and notch. -

Guys,
I appreciate the help. I've actually got a piece of 6061-t6 of the same dimensions, I just had dreams of finding an anodized or otherwise coated one.
