The ad says H14, I disagree. I see jib sheet hardware on the front crossbeams of both.
Probably close to basket cases. If the sails were stored inside they might be worth the effort.

I own a Turbo. The jib blocks attach through grommets in the tramp to a wire stretched between the side rails.
I've also owned an H16. The shrouds on a 16 attach through the hulls under the lip in the gunnel.. The shrouds on either rig of an H14 attach to the other end of the same tang that holds the jib block wire. Those tangs are attached to the side rail of the tramp frame.
Just looking at the length of the hulls tells me they're H16s.

I have a turbo 14 and a H16, and I would agree with gahamby's conclusion. -

The boats in the ad are unquestionably Hobie 16’s.
That they are a “good deal” is highly doubtful.

We need a "Basket Case" category.

Why? What is the point of cluttering up the forum with junk for sale? People can easily search craigslist on their own. Letting others know about good deals is fine, but starting threads about garbage boats for sale is a waste IMO.

Although those boats in the ad may look a little rough they still may have some useful parts or could even be restored if someone was looking for a project, I wouldn't exactly call them basket cases.
