That would be a fun boat for sailing around, but it's not even remotely competitive in the F18 fleet.

Having owned on of these I agree, it is a fun to sail modern boat but not capable of competing in the F18 class... Some of these first * second generation F18 boats are going pretty cheap these days

There have been a lot of good deals in the past year on older F18's. Several C2's, a Capricorn and a few Infusions. When you add these packages up you are often saving $15-$20k vs. new for a 5-6 year old setup. Keep in mind the current Canadian National Champs and 3x+ U.S National Champs are sailing a 5+ year old boat at the Worlds this fall. Hopefully we can keep some momentum in the fleet after the Worlds, so pick up an older ride and come sailing!!!
