I've followed the multihull movement since the late 70's and have been always intrigued by the French and their ocean racing. The technical development and human effort are truly to be admired.
Spindrift II is currently in the Southern Ocean. Broad reaching at 30 knots in between South Africa and Antarctica.

Life on the edge. I was amazed watching them round Africa just yesterday. The IDEC Sport which was trailing is still booking to the south at 27 knots.
