Some of you will remember Brian Heffernan from the Prindle and Hobie fleets here in Arizona in the 80's and 90's. He has passed, leaving his wife, Heather Alford Heffernan in Rocky Point, where they have made their home for decades. Brian was a great person to know- kind, helpful, great sailor and he could fix anything. He and I led the Prindle Fleet in the early eighties and Brian always had a smile and a story to share. I didn't realize that I could miss him more than I already did.
