The spreader got out of square and collapsed during the mast raising (user error). I took it off and the tabs are twisted about 15 degrees. I pounded them nearly straight. No visible damage to welds. Is a smidge off ok on tab angle ? Thanks to all who have broken their boats before and are willing to chime in on this.

If you got the tabs close to eyeball straight, the important part now is to make sure the spreaders are 90 degrees to the mast. This may require you to bind them to the diamond wires with wire and then tape them. If you do this and then drastically change your diamond tension you may have to adjust.
