  • I used to sail on a lake in the 70s that had 2 Sizzlers on it and probably 15 or so H16 One of the H16s was mine , have to say the Sizzlers were very hard to beat, in most conditions they just seemd faster. Havent seen one for a long time, sure makes me think of some fun times. now when I take my H18 with sx wings out Im lucky to see another sail boat of any kind out.... Jay
  • The Sizzler really looked cool, and it starred in Jaws 2, and the on-the-water scenes were filmed at Fort Walton Yacht Club

    ..but

    You'd want to weigh it first, those aluminum hulls were not water tight so the factory filled them completely with foam, which absorbed water, making the boats heavier and heavier with no way to dry out.
