I know several asked about finding one of these.

I think that member bought a H18.
I wonder at the spec in the ad that says the 3hp motor moves the boat at 15-20 mph.

My tohatsu 3.5 can push my square bow jonboat 10 -11 mph with a tail wind
Maybe he can downwind it at that speed or sail-motor in light air at that speed ?

I have a Suzuki 2.5 on the back of my 21SC. It's "sweet-spot" is right around 4.5-5 mph which at less than quarter throttle. You get 7 mph at half throttle and on a really flat day with no mast and rudders up you can top off at 12 mph at full throttle.
I suspect the 15-20 mph listed in the advert is a little bit of an embellishment. Maybe with a 9.9 to 15hp? -

Thanks, Pete - as Gahamby noted I (at least) have moved to an H18, but there were others looking as well. Hopefully they'll see this thread...
I appreciate the help!

On a dead flat calm my Torqueedo 1003 will push my SC15 t0 about 7mph. That rate will flatten the battery in about 30 min.
