I’ve always buffed and waxed the hulls of our Mystere once a year to keep them in good condition but the problem is the decks end up very slippery to stand or sit on. I end up going easy on waxing the tops but obviously thus is the part that gets the most abuse from the sun (my cat is exposed out on a boatlift all summer.
Just wondering what others out there are doing?

Don't wax them. Where you're sailing is pretty high latitude and only warm months so I would expect the oxidation to be minimal.

i agree w Bill
clean them at the end of the season with a product with a little acid in it to remove stains and buildup. live with a little dull vs a lot dangerous
I use 2 or 4 inch non skid tape to avoid real UV and add some grip -

Thanks for the tips guys, I’ll skip the wax this season and see how it goes.
