Just got a topcat 9’1” and I don’t know if the rigging is right

It’s been difficult to find info on this boat however since it was made in the 80s. The rigging that it came with is a simple 2 pulley system with one being connected to the end of the boom and the other to a fixed bar on the aft. I can’t find other boats that are rigged in this manner so I’m not sure if it’s ok. The pulley is only 1 rope wide so the main sheet just kinda hangs loose in it. -
