Northern Ohio covers a lot of territory. I'm over at Pymatuning on the PA side south of the causeway.

I think I saw you out a couple of weeks back, must have been a Sunday. I try and get around a bit! I like to take the boat with me when we camp out at pymatuning -

If that is your boat in the avatar, I saw you. Winds were not great, but we got some movement. Your sails are very noticeable. Are they new? Anyway, I passed you as I was going north and you were near the Ohio shore, and when I came back upwind I wasn't able to reach close enough to pass close to you in the bay. You continued north, and the winds were dying.

Yeap that was me! We started to head downwind to try and catch you but it was dying and we needed to swim and make it back to Ohio! The main is new to me. You must have been on a reach because we couldn't even come close to catching up. I went back out Monday, it was much better -

I'll look for you next time out. I was on the Precision 23 today with nice winds beating from Jamestown to the Bay, but ended up motoring back to dock. Now that I know what I'm looking for, I'll try to sail your direction, but that sail is really sharp!

Thanks man, I'll give you a heads up when I'm out that way. Where do you launch from? Or are you fortunate enough to live on the lake? -

We keep the boat on the eastern shore of the lake at the south-end about 1/2 mile south of that Alpaca Farm where the Flag, Gazebo and rock seawall make a good landmark. You will see my Nacra on shore with a H15 and Prindle 16.

If you missed Labor Day Weekend on Pymatuning, you missed a great one. Didn't see you out there.
